Peripera's Peri Tint Crayon Review

This is only my second lip product from Peripera, but I love the two products so much that I have to say Peripera is my current favourite brand for lip products! Today I will be reviewing Peripera's Peri Tint Crayon in #5 Fruit Sunny. Enjoy!

Product
Peripera's Peri's Tint Crayon
Colour
#5 Fruity Sunny (6 colours in range)
Content
2.5g
Price
$7.65USD from BeautynetKorea

Packaging

As you can see, the packaging from the box to the actual crayon is adorable and unique. I commend them in putting such amazing effort in having a unique pencil shaped box packaging. It makes me not want to throw it away.

The pencil itself is twistable, however the twist is very loose. So if you plan to carry it your bag or pocket or you are just not being careful, this looseness can cause the tip to uncontrollable roll up and squash to the top of the lid.

Colour

#5 Fruity Sunny is described to give you 'Mediterranean sun like hot and sexy orange lips.' It is a very beautiful bright coral colour.

Formula

The crayon has a creamy- lipstick like formula. I would say it leaves a satin/ semi-matte finish to the lips. It is not glossy but doesn't dry out or accentuate any lip dryness.

Pigmentation

It is incredibly pigmented like a lipstick. When ordering this tint crayon online, I was anticipating it to be like a sheer balm. The formula is so creamy and pigmented. I am very very impressed!

Staining power

Being marketed as a Tint Crayon, I was expecting it to stain my lips relatively well. It did not leave any stain to it. I feel this product is more so a lipstick then tint.

Lasting Power

Ofcourse being a creamy, lipstick formula, I knew it would transfer, especially if eating or drinking. However, if you do not drink or eat, it lasts a long time without drying out or anything of the sort. Just be sure to have a mirror handy since it is a vibrant colour.

Pros

Very pigmented
Moisturising- doesn't accentuate dryness/cracks
Semi-matte finish
Light orange scent to the crayon
Affordable

Cons

Packaging- Twist is too loose
Application can get messy

Final Verdict

Packaging 1/5
Colour 5/5
Formula 5/5
Pigmentation 5/5
Staining power 0/5
Lasting Power 4/5

Overall score

4/5

Thank you for reading. I hope you found my review helpful!

Peripera Lumi Pang + Rouge Pang Review

Peripera has never failed to impress me with their lip products and so when they released the Pang line, I couldn't help myself to buy them all. Lucky for me, Koreadepart was and is still having a 30-35% off sale for these new released lip products, so I went a bit crazy and bought quite a few in the line. I hope you enjoy this review!

Peripera Lumi Pang

Brand
Peripera

Product
Peripera Lumi Pang

Shades
CR02, PP06, PK08
(Total 8 shades in the line)

Volume
5.6g

Price
$8.70USD at Koreadepart

Packaging

Although I love Peripera lip products in terms of formulation, their packaging, pretty as they might look, are always so impractical and inconvenient in terms of make. However, I am very impressed at the packaging for these lumi pang tints. The applicators are smaller and thinner than the normal doe foot applicator and the bottle itself stops the applicator from having too much product on it, which makes applying so easy. The packaging is pretty, sturdy, does not feel or look cheap, Good job Peripera!

Colour

There are 8 colours in the range as shown above. The colours I have are:
CR02 Sorry Mam/Secretly Dating is a coral pink, however is shown in my photos as more orange than in reality.
PP06 More More/ Surreptitiously. I don't have a colour like this, it is a very pretty lavender pink on the lips.
PK08 Chu/ Blushing is my favourite of the three. It is a very wearable pastel pinky coral. I would say it is a softer/lighter version of CR02. However, being a lighter colour, its leftover tint isn't so noticeable on my pigmented lips.

The colour payoff is not as vibrant and pigmented as shown in the promotional swatches. However, it does give a natural glossy tint to the lips.

Top: CR02 Middle: PP06 Bottom: PK08

Formulation/Finish

The Lumi Pangs are 'lip tint sticks' and is a combination of a tint and gloss.  These tints claim to give 'plump, moist and glowing lips' and 'Rich and intense colour'.

They have a gel like consistency and is very moisturizing. It leaves a glossy finish and lip-balmy feeling to the lips (not sticky at all). I have to say it does what it claims and gives plump, moist and glowing lips.

Pigmentation

It is sheer and works more so like a gloss than tint. It cannot build to the vibrant colours shown in the promotional photos. However, this lack of pigmentation may be due to the fact that I chose the lighter colours in the range. It's sheer pigmentation does allows for a very natural and carefree colour on the lips.

Staining/ Lasting Power

The Lasting power is not that impressive, especially if you eat and drink. It's staining power is very soft (maybe because i bought the lighter colours of the range) so after the lips loses the gloss and product, you would want to reapply.

Pros

Lightweight formula
Moisturizing
Easy application
Natural stain
Light pleasant scent
Affordable

Cons

Is not as pigmented as seen on promotional swatches
lighter colours may not stain as well
Poor lasting power if eating or drinking
Transfers when eating/drinking

Final Verdict

Peripera Lumi Pang

Packaging 5/5
Formula/ Finish 5/5
Pigmentation 3/5
Staining Power 2/5
Lasting Power 2/5

Overall
4/5

It is perfect product for everyday use. Unlike other tints, this tint is easy to apply since the applicator is so small and thin and the fact that the product has a sheer pigmentation and has a great formula. That being said, I would have liked it to have a stronger staining power and pigmentation.

Peripera Lumi Pang

Volume

Price

Packaging

Nothing bad to say about the packaging. Sturdy, pretty and can easily be thrown into your purse.

Formula/Finish/Pigmentation

The formula is very smooth and reminds me very much of the Innisfree Glow lipsticks. It leaves a moisturizing and glowy but not glossy finish to the lips. It does not accentuate dry areas and is very easy to apply.

The pigmentation, again is similar to the Innisfree glow lipsticks and so quite pigmented.

Being a soft colour, it leaves a soft stain. However, I would think with the more vibrant colours in the range would tint the lips more.

Colour

PK07 Courteous is a soft and natural muted pink. It is a nice everyday colour. I enjoy combining this colour with the Lumi Pang in PK08 on top. As you can see in the swatch of the two below they are very similar. Lumi Pang in PK08 just leans more coral than pink.

Sadly, the colours in the range didn't attract me. The 8 colours in the rouge line are very bold and vibrant and do not seem so wearable. Therefore, I only bought the one shade i thought wasn't so flashy.

Top: Peripera Pang Rouge PK07 Courteous
Bottom: Peripera Lumi Pang PK08 Chu

Lasting Power

It is a lipstick that is moisturising so you cannot expect it to last long especially if eating or drinking. However, if you do not eat or drink, the colour lasts all day.

Pros

Moisturizing
Smooth application
Good pigmentation
Affordable
doesnt accentuate cracks or dryness

Cons

 Gives natural stain
Transfers when eating/drinking

Final Verdict

Peripera Rouge Pang

Packaging 5/5
Formula/ Finish 5/5
Pigmentation 5/5
Lasting Power 2/5

Overall
5/5

It has the same moisturising and smoothness of Innisfree glow lipstick. I love it! It is unfortunate the colours in the range are too vibrant for my liking.

I recommend the Lumi Pangs and Pang rouges to every lip product loving person out there!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Tony Moly BCDation All Master Review

I was really excited when I received a 20g deluxe sample of the Tony Moly BCDation All Master in the Memebox Global #15. It was a product I had been eyeing for a while. The idea of a base that serves the function of a BB cream, CC cream and Foundation intrigued me and this product claims to have the light application of a cc cream, natural feel of a bb cream and coverage of a foundation.

Now, I do not have the original first edition which is the BCDation (No 'All Master'), so I cannot tell you what the difference is between the two versions, but I do know that the All Master comes in only one shade and the original BCDation comes in 2 shades- Pink Beige and Natural Beige.

Brand
Tony Moly
Product
BCDation All Master
Colour
Only one shade available
Price
50g $15.30USD at BeautynetKorea

Formula

The BCDation claims to have a 'moist and comfortable application of a cc cream' and I have to say Tony Moly got it right with its light weight CC cream like formula and application!

The formula is very light and of a gel/moisturizing cream texture, which is very much like a cc cream. It is not thick like bb cream/ foundation.

Application

The application is very easy due to its light gel formula. With some foundations, I find it really difficult to blend in the product. With this product, I can easily use my fingers to pat and blend the product on my face. I really like it.

Finish

The BCdation also claims to give a 'light and natural covering of a bb cream.' The finish doesn't feel too heavy like foundation, however not so light as a cc cream. I must say it does have the finish of a bb cream which proves the claim. The finish is very natural, with a slight glow to the skin.

However, my dry spots are accentuated with this BCDation and it also leaves a abit of stickiness to your skin after application, but powdering after removes that stickiness.

Colour

Now this version of the BCDation is 'All Master', so it comes in only one shade. I was scared it would be too light for my medium skintone, or be a pinky or grey undertone. Fortunately, it has a yellow/beige undertone! yay!

The colour reminds so much of The Face Shop Aura CC Cream in that it was a little light for my skin, but in saying that it did not give me a ghostly mask, but a brightening effect to my skin. However, when the foundation does fade in areas (like the nose area), the shade difference is noticeable so that's unfortunate.

Coverage

It gives a decent coverage, considering its lightweight formula. I would say it gives a buildable medium coverage, which does in a way proves the claim of 'excellent covering of blemishes and trouble spots like a foundation.' Redness was gone, appearance of blemishes and spots were reduced (however not entirely gone) and overall, my dull skin turned brighter and more healthy looking.

Lasting Power

Many reviews of the original BCDation recommend those with oily skin to not use this product as it tends to turn the face into an oily mess by the end of the day. I have really oily skin and especially since it is getting hotter here in Australia, the oiliness is at its high, so i was really concerned that i would turn oily wearing this All Master. However, I think they have reformulated something because my face did not oil up at all after wearing it from 6am-6pm! I have a slight glow to my skin but it isn't a disgusting glow. I am very impressed! (I did use a primer and powder in conjunction though)

After 12 hours of wear. It was not melted off my skin or caked up in lines or anything. The BCDation did fade off around my nose area, but i did have a runny nose that day so it couldn't be helped. Overall, very impressed.

Pros

Light to Medium Coverage
Light weight formula
Buildable and Blendable
Yellow/Neutral undertone
Good oil control
Great Lasting power
Did not break me out

Cons

Only one shade
May accentuate dry spots
Stickiness after application

Final Verdict

Formula 5/5
Application 5/5
Finish 4/5
Colour 4/5
Coverage 3/5
Lasting Power 5/5

Overall Score
4/5

-1 for shade being slightly lighter than my skintone and coverage being not enough for my blemished skin.

I am overall impressed with this BCDation All Master. The product does prove to be a combination of a BB, CC and Foundation. It would be nice if they had more then one shade though. I would definitely recommend this to all skin-types.

Hope you found this review helpful!

Take care!

Memebox Global #15 Unboxing

This is my very first beauty box and Memebox purchase. Memebox is a online service that sells Korean beauty products and beauty boxes. The concept of receiving a box of unknown korean beauty products really excited me and this box did not disappoint me at all.

Memebox is also great because it gives out so many discount codes for purchases. I ended purchasing this box for $5 after using various promocodes!

Shipping

I actually ordered my memebox back in July! However its shipping date was the end of September, so it was quite a wait but that was my fault for not looking at the shipping date before purchasing.

The shipping and delivery was amazing though. The website stated it would take an estimated 10-20 days of standard shipping from the shipping date of the box. However, it got to me in 7days and considering that I live in Australia where international shipping usually takes a while, I was very impressed at how fast it came to me!

I have yet to use all the products but I am very pleased with the diversity of product type and the quality of the items! Thank Memebox. I am very impressed!

Mini Korean Beauty Haul [BeautynetKorea]

Hello! I have a mini haul from Beautynetkorea to share! I hope you enjoy!

Products

Innisfree Color Glow Lipstick #3 Romantic Autumn Rose
Being very fond of their tints, I decided to try out Innisfree's lipsticks. They have also recently brought out a new Creamymellow lipstick range. I hope to buy a lipstick from the range and then compare the two since they are identical in appearance!

Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge #1 Pink Dreaming
I have done a comparison review  between the Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge and Nature Republic By Flower Triple Volume Tint which i will link here. Although I ultimately stated that I prefer the NR Tint over the IF tint, the colours in the IF range entice me more. However I realised #1 Pink dreaming is almost, if not identical to NR #6 Rose. Oh well my bad! Beautiful colour non the less!

Peripera Peri's Tint Crayon #5 Fruity Sunny
Without a doubt Peripera is my favourite brand for lip products! This crayon is a beautiful colour and so pigmented its absurd! I want to buy all Peripera's lip products!

The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Design my Eyebrow #5 Dark Gray
I decided to finally buy a new eyebrow pencil! For the longest time I have been using the Tony Moly Easy Touch Auto Eyebrow. I don't love it since the formula is quite chalky/soft and it's tip is too fat. This pencil by The Face Shop has a small tip and is more smooth and stiff in formula which is great for precision!

BBIA Shade and Shadow #1 Powder made of mixed grains and #6 Innocent
I do not know of this brand, but their eye shadows looks beautiful and intriguing as they market them as being both a colour of eyes and cheeks. Both have no glitter and can be used as an overall wash on the eyelids. #1 can be easily used as a cheek contouring shade and #6 is a very soft burnt salmon shade that is great for a quick and daily overall eye lid shade.

Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint #2 Red
I received this as a gift with purchase and I am very happy with it! It is a gel-ish consistency and is an orange red colour.

I hope you enjoyed reading! Until next time, Take care!

Nature Republic By Flower Triple Volume Tint No.6 VS Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge No.4

Being both very similar products, I decided to do a comparison review between Nature Republic By Flower Triple Volume Tint in No.06 Rose and Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge in No.4 Sweet Orange.

Packaging

Both tints pretty much have the same packaging. Matte tubes with a transparent panel showing the product inside. Both tints also contain a stopper to control the amount of product you want on the applicator The only difference is that the Innisfree tint clicks in when you close it which makes you feel like its securely shut.

Application

As you can see in the images, the two tints differ in applicator shape.

Nature republic’s applicator has a dip/hole in its applicator. The idea of that dip is to hold more product. However, I find the applicator holds too much product. Being such a bold colour, its best if I dot the product and blend it out with my fingers.

Innisfree’s applicator is the common and standard angled applicator. I find this applicator to be more controllable. Although the colour is vibrant, I don't have to use my fingers to spread the product on my lips since the applicator has the right amount of product on it.

Colour

Both Colours are very bold and vibrant. Both have glossy finishes, but not the overly glossy and sticky kind. Both are very moisturizing and do not dry out my lips.

Innisfree No.4 Sweet orange is a very true blood orange colour. It swatches more orange but on the lips looks like a bright red-orange.

Nature Republic No.06 Rose is a popular colour, being the Editor’s Pick in Alure Korea Best of Beauty Awards 2013. It is a bright fushia/magenta colour. The colour is abit too bright for my medium skintone so I use a thin layer of it on my lips.

Pigmentation

Both tints are highly pigmented as you can see in the swatches. You just need one thin coat for both to get a bright colour payoff on the lips! However I find Innisfree to be slightly more of a gel consistency and therefore a little less pigmented compared to Nature Republic. Both colours are very buildable.

Lasting/ Staining Power

These tints do transfer being more so a liquid lipstick that tints. However when not eating or drinking, the colours last all day.

Innisfree does not leave a strong tint when all the product is off my lips. It leaves a strong tint in the inner part of my lips, however only a faint tint on the outer lip area. (This may be because of the colour itself though)

Nature Republic, however, has a VERY strong staining power. After the gloss disappears, it leaves the same vibrant colour tinted on my lips all day. I can’t even remove the stain in the shower! However, oil based remover does the job at removing the tint.

Price

Nature Republic By Flower Triple Volume Tint  $8USD for 4g
Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge $10.83USD for 3.5g

Nature Republic By Flower Triple Volume Tint

Pros

Moisturizing
